Conflict Is Not The Enemy
Every version of this workshop is built around the same core idea: peace is not created by removing conflict, it is created by staying present and regulated when two wills meet. What changes between formats is how deep we go, and how much practice time you get alongside the theory.
2-Hour Workshop
- The Iceberg model, what's really driving a behaviour beneath what you can see
- The Five-Step Regulation Protocol, a practical sequence for the moment itself
- An introduction to the Five Doors, five different adult responses to the same conflict
- Time for questions and initial reflection
6-Hour Workshop
- The Iceberg model, explored in full depth with real scenarios
- The Five-Step Regulation Protocol, practiced, not just explained
- The Five Doors framework, including where each response leads a child six months and ten years on
- What might be driving your own responses, attachment patterns and core wounds beneath the door you tend to reach for
- Guided practice and small-group reflection time throughout the day
Donna Stichbury
Donna is a relationship facilitator working at the edge of attachment theory, nervous system science, and everyday life with children. She trained with Pennie Brownlee as a parent and infant facilitator, is nine years into a ten-year Pikler Pedagogue qualification, and is a Circle of Security facilitator, a Stuart Shanker Self-Reg facilitator, and a Donna Berry Interplay facilitator.
Both workshop formats draw on the same body of work, the difference is simply how much time there is to practice it together.
